Leather jackets are found in every field of the world now. Either it’s the sports world where David Beckham is always seen donning a Black Leather Jacket For Men, or the entertainment industry where almost all the celebrities have them as their fashion statement. What makes them so special? The answer lies in the wide variety of features that they possess.

These top-layers have marked their entry into the gaming arena from coming in a range of colors to being manufactured with different leather types. Now you will see almost all the players having a jacket as their costume. They fulfill the purpose of giving an intimidating look, but they make the wearer look classy and stylish.

Due to some genius minds from the fashion designing world, we started to see leather jackets as symbols of fashion rather than just a safety measure. Many costume designers have also incorporated these stunning top layers into the movies and TV series, so let’s take some inspiration from them!

Easy Rider (1969):

The story revolving around two friends who love to ride Harley and do drugs became a hit as soon as its release. Wyatt — played by Peter Fonda and Billy — played by Dennis Hopper, get done with a drug deal in South California and plan to go on a country-wide trip to find spiritual truth.

The action-filled movie contains a lot of leather jackets with the perfect vintage vibe. As Wyatt and Billy were the biker hippies, black leather jackets were a major part of their outfits. Peter Fonda’s black jacket having red, white, and blue stripes design on the left sleeve and right side of the jacket going down vertically stole the spotlight more than any other.

The jacket was named Captain America jacket as it has the USA flag printed on the back! Dennis Hopper wasn’t behind him as he donned a stylish brown leather jacket having fringes on the sleeves and the hemline. He paired it with an all-brown outfit, and Peter went with an all-black one. Well, both looked classic as hell!

Top Gun (1986):

The movie revolves around a training center, Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School, where a young boy, Maverick — played by Tom Cruise, is admitted to be the best pilot ever. He has a cocky exterior and arrogant that provide a barrier between him and other pilots to get along, including the jubilant pilot, Iceman — played by Val Kilmer. He then gets charmed by Charlotte Blackwood, the flight instructor played by Kelly McGillis.

As the movie is all about jets and pilots, many aviator jackets are seen in it. Tom and the other actors all looked super-chic, let it be the classic patched motorcycle leather jacket or the classy aviator jackets. These jackets were then adopted by many designers who then added modern and fashionable touch to them, and that’s why they are still the hot-sellings.

Rebel Without A Cause (1955):

Jim Stark — the troublemaking teen, played by James Dean, moves to a new town where a lot of troubles are already waiting for him. He got into the real trouble when he started dating Judy — played by Natalie Wood — who was already dating the neighborhood guy, Buzz — played by Corey Allen. When buzz gets to know all this, he challenges him to a drag race, and here is when the real fun starts.

This movie soon became the perfect depiction of the teenage styling of the ‘50s. Jim used to wear a red blouson jacket with Lee jeans. He pairs it with a white t-shirt and looks classic as hell. Another time is when he wears a black motorcycle jacket over a sweater. Other characters also wore some classic vintage jackets in brown, tan, and black.

The Wild One (1953):

A biker gang is the main story of this movie. Johnny — played by Marlon Brando — and his biker gang travel to Carbonville for a competition and cause enough trouble to get kicked out from the city. The local police officer of Wrightsville then arrests their leader, Chino — played by Lee Marvin. At the same time, Johnny gets involved with the daughter of the sheriff.

The wardrobe collection of this movie mainly includes motorcycle Black Leather Jackets. The biker gang gave the perfect idea of how a biker used to roam around in the ‘50s. They used to accessorize their outfit with a belt and a hat that just complimented their look stylishly.
